The Sara and Sam Schoffer Holocaust Resource Center is a Jewish Foundation for the Righteous (JFR) Holocaust Center of Excellence. The JFR Holocaust Centers of Excellence Program was established to honor centers who have made an extraordinary commitment to teach the Holocaust in their communities. The Sara and Sam Schoffer Holocaust Resource Center faculty, staff, and supporters were honored to be chosen as a JFR Holocaust Center of Excellence. The Sara & Sam Schoffer Holocaust Resource Center at Stockton University,

is currently open and located on the second floor of the Stockton University Library. The center is open from Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM and Fridays from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Did you know?

Stockton University offers a Master of Arts in Holocaust & Genocide Studies (MAHG) as well as a minor in Holocast and Genocide Studies for undergraduate students. Stockton Univeristy also offers a Graduate Certificate in Genocide Prevention (GPC).

Lessons of Hope and Resilienace: Stories of Holocaust Survivors in Cumberland County via Zoom

The Sara and Sam Schoffer Holocaust Resource Center at Stockton University presents for the Vineland Public Library a virtual program about the life stories of Holocaust survivors in Cumberland County. The program will be presented by Dr. Michael Hayse, Wally and Lutz Hammerschlag Associate Professor of Holocaust Studies at Stockton University, Gail Rosenthal, Director of the Sara and Sam Schoffer Holocaust Resource Center, and Irvin Moreno-Rodriguez, Program Assistant of the Sara and Sam Schoffer Holocaust Resource Center.
