Atlantic City, NJ - On Monday, April 4, 2005, the New Jersey Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative Commission will hold a wreath laying ceremony commemorating the death of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
The event is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. at the Civil Rights Garden located next to the Carnegie Library Center in Atlantic City. New Jersey Secretary of State, Regena L. Thomas, is scheduled to attend.
A reception will be held at the Carnegie Library Center immediately following the event. There will also be an educational component at 1:00 p.m. in the Carnegie Center lecture hall for students from Atlantic City and Pleasantville High Schools.
