Galloway Township, NJ Nonie Darwish, born and raised as a Moslem in both Gaza and Cairo, Egypt will speak on Can Arabs be Pro-Israel? a free lecture to take place at The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey Tuesday April 4, 2006 at 8 p.m. at the Alton auditorium (formerly A-Wing Lecture Hall).

 

This free event is open to the public. Closest available parking is Parking Lot #1 on the Galloway Twp. campus.

 

Ms. Darwish received her Bachelors degree from the American University in Cairo. She worked as an editor and translator at the Middle East News Agency and is now a freelance writer, public speaker and interpreter.

 

The event is co-sponsored by The Campus Religious Council, Jewish Student Union/Hillel, the Multicultural Connection Office of Student development and Hasbara Fellowships.
