GALLOWAY TWP., NJ The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey kicks off its Hospitality Management Lecture Series with guest speaker Mr. Victor Tiffany, Vice President of Food and Beverage Operations for the Borgata Hotel, Casino and Spa in Atlantic City.
Mr. Tiffany is a graduate of Cornell Universitys School of Hotel Administration, trained at the Hotel De Paris in Monte Carlo and Windows on the World, and studied classical French cooking at the Cordon Bleu in Paris.
Among other accomplishments, Mr. Tiffany served as Restaurant Director for New York Citys acclaimed Tribeca Grill under Robert DeNiros ownership from 1989-95. Later, as Director of Special Projects, he opened Myriads Nobu Next Door, TriBakery and Layla in New York City, Nobu London and San Franciscos Rubicon, owned in part by Robin Williams, Robert DeNiro and Francis Ford Coppola.
Tiffany is scheduled to present "Creating the Borgata" on Thursday, March 24, 2005 from 2:30-4:30 pm at the Townsend Residential Life Center on the Pomona campus.
Nelson Johnson, author of Boardwalk Empire: The Birth, High Times, and Corruption of Atlantic City, is scheduled to speak on Tuesday, April 19, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. in the Alton Auditorium.
Johnson, a life-long resident of Atlantic County and practicing attorney for over twenty-five years, served as counsel for the Atlantic City Planning Board and was an elected member of both the Hammonton School Board and the Atlantic County Board of Freeholders.
