GALLOWAY TWP., NJ The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey will host the annual Jersey Shore Science Fair on Saturday, March 19, 2005, from 9:00 a.m. through 2:00 p.m. in the Colleges Sports Center, adjacent to parking lots 4, 5 and 6.

More than 500 sixth through twelfth grade students representing South Jersey middle schools and high schools are expected to present science projects.

Sponsored by the Natural Sciences and Mathematics Division of the College and the FAA Tech Center, the event showcases the talents of budding scientists from Atlantic, Burlington, Cape May, Ocean and Monmouth Counties.

The College looks forward to hosting the Jersey Shore Science Fair each year, said Dennis Weiss, Dean of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. This is a great opportunity for South Jersey students to come together and learn from each other.

The Jersey Shore Science Fair is one of 11 student competitions held each year in Delaware, New Jersey and Pennsylvania that send its winners on to compete at the Delaware Valley Science Fair.

Admission to the event is free and public viewing time is 12 noon to 1:00 p.m. For more information contact Kathy Jaggard at the FAA Tech Center, 609-233-1037.
